The cosine of an angle between 0 and 1.55 (nearly pi/2) was computed
for about one million pseudo-random numbers.
The results are presented in separate tables for different FPU's.
Each table gives counts in cells.
Thus for the PII FPU (see the link below), for those cases where
the argument was between 0.250 and 0.500, a result with between 64.30
and 64.40 bits accuracy was produced 6761 times.
The bottom row in each table shows how many times the result had 66.0 bits
or more accuracy.
The results show that a PII usually produces a better result than the
80486 and that the emulator performs roughly as well as a PII for
angles less than about 0.5, and progressively better than a PII as
the angle approaches pi/2.
